Bounty Land:

Bounty land was used as an incentive to serve in the military and as a reward for that service. We will discuss bounty land grants from the colonial era through the Indian Wars in the 19th century. Topics will include who granted land, who got the land, where it might be located, the process for procuring the land, and where you might find those records.
